Wait for the display to stop flashing; the program is now active (the corresponding number will stay visible on the screen).

If the heater fails to ignite, you may need to clear a "lockout." A common method is to remove the 20A heater fuse for 30 seconds while the unit is trying to start, then replace it.

You can change how long the heater runs (10–60 minutes) by pressing and holding the Set button while the flame symbol is displayed, then using the arrow buttons.
