Encouraged by Catherine, Ayano decides she must save Kazuma from himself.

Interestingly, while his Black Wind makes him more brutal and gives him the ability to read minds, it actually makes him overall weaker because he loses the calm control required for his true Contractor powers.

Alongside Ren, Ayano confronts Kazuma in Central Park. When Kazuma refuses to listen, Ayano is forced to engage him in combat using her sacred sword, Enraiha.
