Jim reports his commercial 45 copy of Andrea True Connection's "More, More, More (Pt. 1)" has an actual and printed run time of 3:02. I'm passing this along because the song's database CD entries containing a "45 version" comment range from 2:57-3:10.

Gotovye Domashnie Zadanija Po Literature Rabochaja Tetrad Klass Nelkin -

A. G. Nelkin’s workbooks, such as those available at OZON , are designed to bridge the gap between simple reading and active literary analysis. Unlike standard textbooks, these workbooks focus on "speech development," encouraging students to create their own texts based on creative prompts. 1. The Educational Value of the Workbook

A. G. Nelkin’s workbooks are highly regarded for moving beyond rote memorization. However, the rise of GDZ platforms poses a risk to their effectiveness. To truly benefit from Nelkin's system, students must engage with the creative prompts personally, as literature remains the "foundational step" in developing a student's cognitive and linguistic identity. Unlike standard textbooks, these workbooks focus on "speech

In many Russian schools, there are strict guidelines for these materials. For instance, Infourok notes that while standard notebooks are used for essays, workbooks like Nelkin's are integrated into the "Speech Development" curriculum to provide a structured format for homework and classwork. Conclusion To truly benefit from Nelkin's system

: While Nelkin's workbooks aim to develop "thought processes" and "creative development," GDZ often provides a shortcut that bypasses these cognitive steps. Unlike standard textbooks

The prevalence of "Gotovye Domashnie Zadaniya" (GDZ) online—seen on platforms like GDZ.ru —creates a conflict with Nelkin's pedagogical goals.

: Deep dives into specific metaphors or character motivations.

: Asking students to write in the style of the author being studied.

There's a lot of crap on the radio, but there's only one Crap From The Past.

Couldn't find any decent videos on YouTube of the 45
playing, but I think all of the 3:00 versions of
the song in the database actually run 1% faster than the
45.

Can anyone verify? Calling Mark Matthews.

Agree with crapfromthepast that Rhino's Disco Years,
Volume 1 is the best digital source for this classic. This
CD sounds like it is sourced from lower generation tape
sources than the other options, and tastefully mastered.
I turn up the good and turn down the bad!
