Sheikh was born in 1967 (or 1968) in Dammam, Saudi Arabia . He completed his memorization of the entire Quran in 1990 at the age of 22. A graduate of the Imam Mohammad ibn Saud Islamic University , he holds a degree in Sharia (Usul ad-Din) .
