Romualdo leads an army to the Dark Kingdom, but is bewitched by the Witch, who disguises herself as Fantaghirò and kisses him, erasing his memories. Fantaghirò must then journey alone to the Dark Kingdom, using her wits and combat skills to defeat the Witch and restore Romualdo's true self.
