You must download all parts (part01, part02, etc.) into the same folder before extracting. (Technical forums like KenotronTV often use "123")
Updating TV firmware via USB is a high-risk procedure. If the process is interrupted, it can "brick" the TV (making it unbootable). Format a USB flash drive to FAT32 .
Place the extracted firmware files into the root directory (not in a folder) of the USB drive. Initiate Update: Unplug the TV from the power outlet. Insert the USB drive. Press and hold the Power button on the TV (not the remote). While holding the button, plug the TV back into the wall.
If you need to adjust screen parameters after an update, you can often access the service menu by pressing Source followed by 2580 or Menu followed by 1147 on the remote.
