The narrative picks up after the events of the first game. You join a resistance movement alongside other military fugitives to wrest control of the massive colonist ship from an increasingly authoritarian military force. However, the human soldiers aren't your only problem—the ship is crawling with failed genetic experiments, ranging from shambling zombies and undead dogs to massive, melee-wielding bosses.
