In vanilla gameplay, chunks—16x16 block segments extending from bedrock to build limit—appear instantly once processed by the world generator. Chunk Animator intercepts this render call to apply geometric transformations, effectively "rendering the chunks somewhere else" and transitioning them to their final coordinates.
