Initial metadata analysis suggests the file was encoded using the H.264 codec with an original frame rate of 29.97 fps. Status Report: The file header was severely damaged during the initial power loss event. Reconstruction of the MOOV atom was required to make the stream seekable. While the audio track remains unsynchronized, the visual data has been stabilized. Preliminary viewing indicates this is raw footage from an automated drone survey (Model AJB-series) dated late 2025. I found Ajb08235.mp4 while cleaning out my cloud storage today. I almost deleted it, thinking it was just another accidental pocket-recording. But when I opened it, I realized it was the video from that night at the pier. You can’t see much because the light was so low, and the wind makes the audio sound like a hurricane, but you can hear us laughing in the background. It’s a tiny, grainy window back to a Tuesday night that felt like nothing at the time, but now feels like everything.
